The invention relates to a process for preparing antioxidant lipid nanoparticles with photoprotection properties, to be used in the cosmetic industry. According to the invention, the process consists in contacting an aqueous phase with a lipid phase, at a temperature of 82...85°C and maintaining them under a constant temperature condition for 1 h, the so formed emulsion being then subjected to homogenization with high shearing degree at 25000 rpm, for 10 min, followed by cooling while magnetically stirring, at the ambient temperature, to result in aqueous dispersions of lipid nanocarriers, free and charged with UV filters, subjected than to a lyophilization process, at the temperature of -55°C, for 72 h, wherefrom lipid nanoparticles, in solid form, with photoprotection properties, are obtained.
