METHOD FOR ESTIMATION OF IMMUNOTOXIC EFFECT OF MERCURY (IN EXPERIMENT)

A method for estimation of immunotoxic effect of mercury (in experiment) provides for examination of immunocompetent cell condition, wherein mercuric chloride is injected intraperitoneally in dose of 1/100 LD50 in saline solution five times in every week for 2 weeks, area of lymphoid cells, perimeter thereof and minimal diameters are determined, as well as an absolute density (number of cells per mm2) and relative density (in percents) of distribution of each class cells in different morphofunctional compartments of lymphoid organs, values of those are compared to control, and immunotoxic effect of mercury is estimated when indices are changed.
