METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF MANDIBULAR FRACTURES WITH FRAGMENTS

The method for the surgical treatment of the mandibular fractures with the fragments comprises the open reposition and fixation of the fragments, the extraction of the tooth from the fracture fissure, the removal of subvital bone fragments, and the suturing of the oral mucosa. The removed subvital fragments are mechanically reduced to the side of the chips (0.1-3.0 mm) and mixed with the platelet-enriched plasma. This mixture is used for filling the bone defect at the site of the fracture.
