A METHOD FOR PREVENTING POSTOPERATIVE COMPLICATIONS OF VIDEO-ASSISTED THORACIC BIOPSY OF INTRATHORACIC LYMPH NODES

摘要

A method for preventing postoperative complications of video-assisted thoracic biopsy of intrathoracic lymph nodes includes anlages in bed of distant intrathoracic lymph nodes of hemostatic sponge. After drying of biopsy zone, using a sterile syringe and long dry needle via one of thoracic-ports a place of damaged tissue is evenly covered with a thin layer of medical alphacyanoacrylate gel, exposed for 120 seconds and then hemostatic sponge is applied to the surface.
