A method of treating of large benign prostatic hyperplasia, complicated by bleeding through the prostatic artery, performed by embolization under X-ray control. Superselective prostatic vascular embolization is performed via microvascular catheters using spherical tris-acryl gelatin microspheres, "Embosphere" as embolizate until complete obturation of vascular lumen.
