A method for thermomechanical processing of low carbon microalloyed steel comprises the heating and soaking of ingots, roughing-down and finishing rolling to the required thickness of sheet followed by retarded cooling. After roughing-down metal is forcedly cooled during 90 seconds to temperature 300 °C. Metal is finishing rolled after temperature achieves 750 °C.
