In particular, it relates to a composition for oral administration in which the weight ratio between chondroitin sulfate and celecoxib is between 1.5: 1 and 2.5: 1 ratio which is particularly effective for treating damaged cartilage in patients with osteoarthritis. It also relates to a pharmaceutical unit dosage form, especially a tablet and a capsule, comprising a therapeutically effective amount of said composition.
