A composition comprising: (a) a binder; and (b) not more than 500 parts per million, based on the total weight of the composition, of non-stoichiometric tungsten oxide particles having an aspect ratio of not more than 4: 1 and an average primary particle size of no more than 300 nanometers, determined by a TEM image according to the description, dispersed in the binder.
