A disposable assembly for use with a sensorassembly, and method for making the same, the disposablecomprises a body, a flow restricting element, and a fluidpressure membrane. The body has a lid portion and a baseportion. The body defines a fluid flow passage that formsan inlet and an outlet. The flow restricting element isposi-tioned along the fluid flow passage between the inlet andthe outlet. The fluid pressure membrane is at a location inthe fluid flow passage between the inlet and the outlet. Thefluid pressure membrane defines an opening for receivingthe flow restricting element. The fluid pressure membraneis located between the lid portion and the base portion ofthe body.
