The invention relates to a system for monitoring and self-protecting a method of treating and distributing gray water. The system according to the invention comprises: a set of specific electronic sensors making it possible to follow the activities of said method; a controller; a user interface to warn the user and receive his orders; and a set of solenoid valves for actuating the protections dictated by the controller. The invention makes it possible to monitor the method of treatment and distribution of gray water, to detect anomalies that may jeopardize the efficiency of the operation of said method, and to trigger the actions necessary to protect the users of said process in the event of anomalies.
