Method of detection and quantification of Salmonella pathogen using molecular genetic device presents detecting and accurate quantification of Salmonella bacteria using the two plasmids constructed as reference molecules by cloning two most commonly used Salmonella specific target gene regions 'invA and ttrRSBC' into them. Standard curves were constructed for the recombinant plasmids and reproducibility, PCR efficiency, amplification efficiency values were calculated to use in real time applications.
