A flexible platform to establish chip based hybridisation assays (immunological / serological assays or molecular assays) on a chip has been realized. The platform has proven to work fluidically. The platform allows to generate information on: Assay volumes; Process sequence of assay steps; Timinig of assay steps; Sensitivity; Cross-reactivity; Evaluate e.g. influence of surface functionalization. Hybridisation assays have been established on the system in respect to volumes & timing for the different assay steps.
