A suppression method for a strong interference noise of a carrier channel of a power line, comprising: based on a process of processing a carrier signal transmitted within a standardized frequency range in a transmission area network of a power line, according to a situation where the frequency of a strong interference noise leads or lags a carrier, respectively transmitting signals to be processed to a first suppression circuit (3) where the frequency of a strong interference noise signal is lower than that of the carrier signal and a second suppression circuit (5) where the frequency of the strong interference noise signal is higher than that of the carrier signal through a shunting processing channel module to process an amplitude limiting signal, and then conducting difference mixing on signals output by the first suppression circuit (3) and the second suppression circuit (5), and outputting same to finish a noise reduction process. No matter in which place a strong interference noise and a carrier appear in a channel, the suppression on the strong interference noise of a power line can be realized by means of this method. The method effectively realizes an effective attenuation conducted by a week carrier signal on a strong interference noise on a premise that the week carrier signal is not suppressed within the whole frequency band.
