The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating rheumatoid arthritis, comprising, as an active ingredient, a peptide consisting of an amino acid sequence having SEQ ID NO: 1. The pharmaceutical composition according to the present invention has an advantageous effect of inhibiting the generation and activation of osteoclasts, as well as inhibiting the differentiation and activation of Th17 cells and T_FH cells, which are important in the etiological process of rheumatoid arthritis, and is thus expected to be applicable to the fundamental treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
