A compliant and resilient whiteboard (1) for hanging on a wall to be used in a system (1, 2, 3) for education, training and/or entertainment is disclosed, said whiteboard comprising one or more core layers of compliant and resilient materials (1C-1E), a back plate (1B) produced from a non-compliant material, and a flexible cover (1A) arranged to cover the frontmost core layer. Furthermore, such a system is disclosed, comprising a compliant and resilient whiteboard (1), one or more motion sensors (2), one or more projectors (3) and one or more computers arranged to register, by means of the one or more motion sensors, any physical interactions with the whiteboard made by one or more users of the system, and control, in reaction to the registered physical interactions, what is projected onto the forward-facing of the whiteboard by the one or more projectors.
