The arch-breaking apparatus comprises: a rotary shaft (10) that rotates and is transversely supported within a material hopper, where an input end of the shaft is connected to a driving mechanism; at least one set of first arch-breaking units (3) arranged on the rotary shaft, where each set of first arch-breaking units (3) comprises: a first fixed element (32) fixed onto the rotary shaft (10) and forming a protruding part that protrudes in the radial direction, a first slide-off sleeve (34) movably sleeved onto the rotary shaft (10) and capable of rotating relative to the rotary shaft, where one end of the slide-off sleeve (34) forms an end-face cam profile (341), while the other end is abutted against the first fixed element (32) via a first flexible element (36), a first abutting element (38) fixed onto the rotary shaft (10), protruded in the radial direction of the rotary shaft (10), and abutted onto the end-face cam profile (341) of one end of the first slide-off sleeve (34) to constitute an end-face cam structure, which allows the first slide-off sleeve (34) to make a reciprocating movement along the radial direction of the rotary shaft (10) when the first slide-off sleeve (34) rotates relative to the rotary shaft (10), and a helical material conveyor (30) provided with an auger-form helical strip (304) that spirals on the outer side of the radial direction of the rotary shaft, where one end of the helical strip (304) is connected onto the first slide-off sleeve.
