A temperature computation method for an infrared thermopile temperature sensor with a self-correction function. The method comprises: using a multiplication and division operation to realize the correction computation of a response rate R, where VP = Vres * ΔV2/ΔV1; according to VP and T0, generating a two-dimensional lookup table address; and based on a bilinear interpolation method, computing a temperature T1 of an object to be measured, first conducting linear interpolation on the output data VP of a two-dimensional lookup table unit in sections, then conducting linear interpolation on a local temperature T0 in sections, and then outputting the temperature T1 of the object to be measured. Also provided is a temperature computation module (8) for realizing the temperature computation method. The temperature computation module comprises: a multiplication and division logic unit (9), an address generation module (10), a two-dimensional lookup table unit (11) and an interpolation operation unit (12), so that the circuit scale of the temperature computation module can be reduced, and the temperature measurement accuracy of the infrared thermopile temperature sensor can be improved.
