METHOD OF EXTRACTION OF CELLULOSE, STARCH, SUGARS, PROTEINS AND PLANT HORMONES FROM THE MAIZE PLANT

A method of extraction of cellulose, starch, sugars, proteins and plant hormones from the maize plant, which involves: a. selection of maize plants at lactic ripeness b. threshing of the plants at lactic ripeness c. separation, from the product of threshing, of at least one first component selected from among stalk and/or leaves and/or bracts and/or cobs; and in which the at least one first component thus obtained is subjected to the following steps: d. a step of grinding and pressing in order to obtain a cellulose-based fibrous residue for zootechnical use and a concentrated solution containing sugars, proteins, starch and plant hormones for food and/or pharmaceutical and/or zootechnical use; e. a step of filtration and centrifugation of the concentrated solution thus obtained in order to obtain a proteinic solution, a sugary serum and starch for food and/or pharmaceutical and/or zootechnical use.
