The present invention relates to a rotary shuttle device housing therein a bobbin for supplying an under-thread of a sewing machine and, more specifically, to a rotary shuttle device for a sewing machine, provided with an under-thread separation prevention means so that the under-thread is supplied while maintaining appropriate tension, the under-thread unwound from the bobbin is continuously and stably supplied to a sewing area, the under-thread is prevented from being cut regardless of the wound amount of the under-thread, and smooth sewing works are ensured.
