The invention relates to a sensor housing (105) for a sensor element (120) for detecting at least one physical property of an energy storage cell (205). The sensor housing (105) comprises a housing element (110) with a recess (115) for accommodating the sensor element (120), a film/foil (125) which is arranged on the housing element (110) in order to cover the recess (115), an adhesion layer (135) which is arranged between the housing element (110) and a film/foil edge (127) of the film/foil (125) in order to fasten the film/foil edge (127) to the housing element (110), and finally an electrolyte-impermeable protective layer (140) which is applied at least to a subregion (137) of the adhesion layer (135), said subregion extending between the housing element (110) and the film/foil edge (127).
