The present invention relates to an OMR reader and a method for enhancing security of an original copy. The present invention includes the steps of receiving the unstructured data executed by the OMR reader and generated by reading any read sheet from an image reading apparatus; temporarily recording the unstructured data; and reading the unstructured data and generating read data. According to the present invention, it is possible to minimize personal information exposure in the image reading step.
