A finite element analysis (FEA) model of a vehicle and rigid wall regulations are received. The FEA model includes multiple nodes connected by finite elements organized into groups. A rigid wall includes at least one segment corresponding to a road cell which is separately installed. The purpose of groups required to have the sum of detailed rigid wall (RWF) force is defined by a user. A contribution level waiting factor about each node in the FEA model is calculated. Time marching simulation of the vehicle colliding with the rigid wall is performed. In each solution cycle, a force contribution level of a node about each node is calculated according to a node type. The calculated force contribution level of the node which is modified into the contribution level waiting factor is accumulated in the sum of the detailed RWF under each of the groups and segments. The complete sum of the detailed RWF is suggested.
