Disclosed is a method for detecting whether various types of edible salts have phthalate series, comprising an extraction step; a concentration step; and a detecting and quantifying step for detecting and quantifying phthalate series by injecting a target solution to liquid chromatography and a mass spectrometry, leading to qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis of various types of phthalate series. The method of the present invention is allowed to analyze phthalate components at the same time, thereby reducing harmful extractants, leading to economical and eco-friendly effects and increasing the degree of detection and accuracy by using mass spectrometry.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
