The present invention relates to an assisting device for high intensity focused ultrasound therapy. The assisting device is installed on a bed where a patient can lie when the patient is treated by means of a high intensity focused ultrasound therapy device. The assisting device includes a pressing unit and a transfer medium accommodating unit. The pressing unit covers and press a part of the patient on the bed while fixed on the bed, wherein at least the patient pressed part consists of flexible material, and a fluid is filled in an internal space. The transfer medium accommodating unit is formed in the pressing unit to have an opened top and bottom and a closed circumference so that an ultrasound transfer medium is accommodated. An ultrasound transceiving unit of a high intensity focused ultrasound transducer of the high intensity focused ultrasound therapy device can be inserted to contact the accommodated ultrasound transfer medium.
