The present invention relates to a method for inducing embryogenic tissue from immature seeds in Pinus taeda, and more specifically, to a method for improving the induction efficiency of embryogenic tissue by monitoring the presence or absence of corrosion cavity, which shows the development stage of an immature seed of Pinus taeda, the development stage of zygotic embryo, and the number of archegonia, and then culturing seeds which are selected based on the monitored results. According to the present invention, the embryogenic tissue can be efficiently obtained from the seeds of Pinus taeda. Thus, the present invention is determined to be a great help in the mass production of Pinus taeda species using asexual reproduction. Furthermore, the method of the present invention can solve the problems of existing transformation when applied to somatic embryo transformation; can be used for mass production and distribution of Pinus taeda having excellent insect resistance by further applying biotechnology; and can contribute to establishment of clonal forestry, breeding of forest tree varieties, and development of forest resources.
