The present invention relates to a method for specifically detecting a β-lactam antibiotic-resistant strain by amplifying target genes using various primers and probes and to a kit using the same. in the method of the present invention, a β-lactam antibiotic-resistant strain can be very efficiently detected through a multiplex real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) using a β-lactamase target gene-specific (in particular, ESBL gene-, AmpC β-lactamase gene-, or carbapenemase gene-specific) primer pair and a probe. Moreover, the kit of the present invention can simply and efficiently detect target genes in a sample through a multiplex PCR.
