The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing functional Helianthus tuberosus L. tea bags using a puffing or extrusion process and, more specifically, to a method for manufacturing functional Helianthus tuberosus L. tea bags comprising: a step for washing Helianthus tuberosus L.; a step for cutting the washed Helianthus tuberosus L. into a thickness of 0.5-1 cm and drying with hot air at 50-70°C for 5-10 hours; a step for puffing or extruding the hot air-dried Helianthus tuberosus L. at 220-260°C for 5-10 seconds; a step for pulverizing the puffed Helianthus tuberosus L. obtained by the puffing process into a particle size of 12 mesh or smaller; and a step for putting the pulverized Helianthus tuberosus L. into a tea bag wrapper and sealing. The Helianthus tuberosus L. tea bag contains a high level of bioactive phenol and has excellent antioxidative activity, thereby being able to provide the superior quality Helianthus tuberosus L. tea bags compared to a conventional method.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
