The present invention relates to an anti-oxidant composition including Orostachys japonicus fractions as active ingredients and, more specifically, an anti-oxidant composition including hexane fractions and/or dichloromethane of Orostachys japonicas as active ingredients wherein the hexane fractions and/or dichloromethane of Orostachys japonicas have no cell toxicity and an activity of increasing the expression of HO-1 and Nrf2 known for having an anti-oxidant effect and a function of removing DPPH radicals, thereby being used for manufacturing health promoting functional food compositions and pharmaceutical compositions to improve anti-oxidant activity.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
