The present invention relates to a magnetocaloric material defined as a chemical formula 1 below, and a manufacturing method thereof; and products including the magnetocaloric material. Chemical formula 1 is Al(M_1-aL_a)_2+c(X_1-bY_b)_2+d wherein Al is aluminum; M and L are each independently a transition element; and X and Y are each independently a non-metallic element or a metalloid element, which satisfies 0=a=1, 0=b=1, -0.5=c=0.5, and -0.5=d=0.5 respectively wherein a and b are not zero at the same time, and excluding that iron (Fe) and manganese (Mn) exist as transition elements at the same when b is equal to zero.
