The present invention relates to a magnetocaloric material comprising a substance represented by formula 1, (Mn_(1-x)Tm_x)_5PB_2, a substance represented by formula 2, Mn_5P_(1-y)A_yB_2, a substance represented by formula 3, Mn_5P_(1-z)B_(2+z), or a combination thereof, to a product comprising the magnetocaloric material, and to a manufacturing method of the magnetocaloric material. The descriptions regarding the formulas are the same as described in the specification. The magnetocaloric material of the present invention can improve a magnetocaloric effect by controlling magnetic properties.
