The present invention relates to a health promoting functional composition, which includes red ginseng, Salicornia europaea and additionally at least one selected from red ginseng, Corylopsis coreana or Erythronium japonicum. The health promoting functional food composition of the present invention comprises extracts of red ginseng, Salicornia europaea, Corylopsis coreana and/or Erythronium japonicum as active ingredients, thereby enabling people and children to take essential nutritional components and having efficacy of increasing immunity of people and children and of facilitating the growth of children wherein the essential nutritional components are saponin and polysaccharide from red ginseng; mineral, fibroid materials and amino acid from Salicornia europaea; bergenin and quercitrin from Corylopsis coreana; and/or cyaniding-3, 5-diglucoside from Erythronium japonicum.
