PANEL-TYPE MAGNETOHYDRODYNAMIC PROPULSION APPARATUS AND THE SHIP COMPRISING THE APPARATUS

The present invention relates to a panel type hydromagnetics propulsion apparatus comprising: a frame; a pair of first and second electrodes provided on the frame at regular intervals; a power unit allowing current to flow between the first and second electrodes; and a magnetic field generation line arranged to be adjacent to the first and second electrodes and generating magnetic field to generate MHD propulsive force between the first and second electrodes. According to the present invention, the panel type hydromagnetics propulsion apparatus can remarkably increase propulsion efficiency of a ship to decrease friction force of a surface of a ship when being attached to a surface of a hull of a ship. The panel type hydromagnetics propulsion apparatus is an attachable panel type to be easily attached to the exiting ship, thereby increasing propulsion efficiency.
