A driving method of a display panel including a plurality of pixels which are arranged as a matrix shape, and a plurality of data lines which are connected with the pixels electrically comprises; a step of producing correcting gray data by applying a gray correcting value of a standard pixel which is defined as mn pixels to gray data of the pixel (m, n are natural number); and a step of driving the data line of the display panel based on the correcting gray data. The step of producing the correcting gray data comprises; a step of obtaining a gray correcting value of a specific pixel among the mn pixels of the standard pixel, and a gray correcting value of a specific pixel among mn pixels of at least one or more peripheral standard pixels adjacent to the standard pixel; a step of calculating each of the correcting gray value of the mn pixels of the standard pixel with an interpolation method by using the correcting gray value included in the standard pixel and the peripheral standard pixel; and a step of producing correcting gray data by applying the calculated correcting gray value to the gray data of the pixel. Therefore, the display device can display a normal image in which a stain is removed by correcting gray data if the stain is formed on at least one between the display panel and a light source.
