Extracts and glabretal-type triterpenoids from the root bark of Dictamnus albus and its use

The present invention relates to a Dictamnus dasycarpus Turcz. extract and four kinds of new glabretal-type triterpenoid compounds isolated therefrom; and to an immunosuppressive composition comprising the new glabretal-type triterpenoid compound as an active ingredient. The triterpenoid compound is selected from compounds 1 to 4 represented by chemical formula 1 to 4 respectively. According to the present invention, provided is a composition that has few side effects and an excellent immunosuppressive effect. Therefore, the composition can be practically used as a composition for prevention and treatment of diseases caused by hypersensitivity reaction such as organ graft rejection, autoimmune diseases, allergy, atopy, etc. and also used for a food additive.
