Disclosed are a system and method for recognizing an electronic tag, and an apparatus applied to the same. That is, when an operation mode of an electronic tag recognition apparatus is acknowledged to be an operation restriction mode in which an electronic tag recognition operation is restricted, the electronic tag is only allowed to be recognized only during an electronic tag recognition enabling period which is determined based on an acknowledged current position, such that a stable electronic tag recognition service can be provided even during the operation restriction mode.
