The present invention relates to a polymer additive used for manufacturing micorfilter membranes or ultrafilter membranes, including polysulfone based polymers with certain chemical structures, and a manufacturing method thereof wherein the polymer additive is allowed to efficiently form porosities on the surface of filter membranes and can easily control shape and size of the porosity, while improving water permeability of the filter membrane, and is not dissolved in water even though the polymer additive is long used, thereby significantly reducing fouling which is a situation that pollutants are adsorbed on the surface of the filter membranes.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
