The present invention relates to a product purchase and advertisement system and method using an avatar. The product purchase and advertisement system using an avatar comprise: a terminal on which a consumer can order goods; a server to provide a product via the terminal and an internet shopping mall; an avatar creation server having an avatar creation module to receive data needed to create an avatar from the consumer and create an avatar for each member and a product application module to apply a product image to the avatar for an avatar illustration, receiving member information needed for avatar creation from the terminal, and creating the avatar for each member to construct an avatar database; a data storage unit to store user information generated by the avatar creation module and the data for the avatar illustration of the consumer; and a central server provided with the avatar creation server and the data storage unit and connected to the avatar creation server to receive information about a product selected on the terminal from a seller server and display the product application module illustrated by applying the product image to the avatar created by the avatar creation server. The present invention allows the consumer to create a desired avatar image to have the avatar wear a product which the consumer intends to purchase as if the consumer wears the product. Therefore, the consumer can select a product which matches a personal style and taste, and contribute to profit generation of the internet shopping mall by providing personal style information.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
