METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING EXPANSION JOINT AND EXPANSION JOINT MANUFACTURED BY THE SAME

The present invention relates to a method to manufacture an expansion joint, and an expansion joint manufactured using the method. The method to manufacture the expansion joint comprises: (S1) a step of forming a first heat resistant rubber layer (21) by winding a first heat resistant rubber band (21) on an outer circumferential surface of a pipe-shaped frame (30) many times in a diagonal direction; (S2) a step of forming a reinforcing layer (22) by winding a reinforcing band (22) on the outer circumferential surface of the first heat resistant rubber layer (21) many times; (S3) a step of forming a second heat resistant rubber layer (23) by winding a second heat resistant rubber band on the outer circumferential surface of the reinforcing layer (22) many times in a diagonal direction; (S5) a step of steaming a stacked structure body, on which the first heat resistant rubber layer (21), the reinforcing layer (22), and the second heat resistant rubber layer (23) are sequentially stacked in a kiln; and (S6) a step of cooling the stack structure body at room temperature and demolishing the pipe-shaped frame (30). The present invention provides a method to manufacture an expansion joint which may have sufficient durability to allow fluid under high pressure to flow and also be manufactured in various sizes, and an expansion joint manufactured using the method.
