Disclosed are a method of manufacturing a cap-assembly of lithium ion battery with a high capacity and power and a cap-assembly thereof. According to the method of manufacturing a cap-assembly of lithium ion battery with a high capacity and power of the present invention, the method comprises: a step S1 for preparing a cap plate in the shape of a flat panel with a vent hole, a membrane hole, and an electrode hole, a first collector assembly unit which is a first electrode attached to the cap plate, and a second collector assembly unit which is a second electrode attached to the cap plate; a step S2 for attaching the first collector assembly unit and the second collector assembly unit to the cap plate; and a step S3 for connecting a first electrode terminal and a second electrode terminal respectively electrically extended with the first electrode and the second electrode. Accordingly, when an abnormal pressure occurs in a lithium ion battery, the present invention can efficiently induce a leak of internal gas and prevent an explosion in advance. The present invention can also reduce the mass transferred with a continuous process where parts of a cap-assembly are moved, reduce the tact time, and improve the manufacturing efficiency.
