The present invention relates to a user interface providing method capable of executing and controlling a plurality of applications in a head unit of a vehicle. The present invention provides the user interface providing method capable of executing and controlling the plurality of applications in the head unit of the vehicle, comprising the steps of: (a) providing a first area for displaying the plurality of applications on a screen of the head unit of the vehicle, wherein the first area is divided into n areas from a specific reference point movable in the first area and displaying a 1-1th area, a 1-2th area, ... , a 1-nth area, so at least portion among the applications is supported to be executed via at least portion among the n areas; (b) if an input of dragging the specific reference point in the first area is sensed, displaying the specific reference point to change the position of the specific reference point along a movement path of the drag and displaying the n areas by dividing the first area into the n areas from the specific reference point located at the changed position. The present invention may provide an interface which can execute and control the plurality of applications simultaneously on one screen in the head unit of the vehicle for driver and fellow passenger convenience.
