BACILLUS SUBTILIS JB-016 STRAIN HAVING SORPTION OF CATIONIC DYE AND METAL, AND BIOMASS USING THE SAME

The present invention relates to a Bacillus subtilis JB-016 strain (Accession No.: KACC91895P) and a biomass using the same wherein the Bacillus subtilis JB-016 strain is a plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) which is separated from a plant root rhizosphere and which has a high adsorption reaction rate with respect to cationic dyes and metals. The Bacillus subtilis JB-016 strain of the present invention is capable of effectively adsorbing and removing cationic dyes, cationic heavy metals and cationic valuable metals. The biomass using the strain of the present invention has an excellent adsorption performance and affinity for cationic materials, and exhibits a high adsorption reaction rate. The Bacillus subtilis JB-016 strain and the biomass of the present invention can be effectively used as a biosorption material of cationic dyes and metals.
