The purpose of the present invention is to provide a system and a method to protect solitary death using a usage information of services based on information and communication technology (ICT) wherein an emergency situation is prevented from occurring to a subject in advance, and the subject is rescued during an occurrence of an emergency situation by indirectly checking a change in physical state of the subject at home by utilizing the usage information of ICT-based services of the subject, e.g., the disabled and the elderly living alone without even a separate facility based on sensors to measure change in the physical state. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the present invention not only contributes greatly to prevent a solitary death of the subject at home in advance, but also effectively prevents a problem of the subject being left alone at home for a long time after solitary death since change in the physical state of the subject can directly be checked by analyzing the usage pattern of the ICT-based services usually used by regular people living a social life. In addition, an optimal effect corresponding to the purpose of preventing solitary death at minimal costs can be generated as the present invention can be conducted and operated in the usage environment of the current ICT-based services of the subject without the burdening the costs of installing, and maintaining and repairing a separate facility based on sensors to measure change in the physical state at home.
