A device for alarming start of a car ahead of the present invention comprises: an image collecting module installed in a car behind to collect image data of a car ahead; an image processing module detecting a tail light pattern by processing the collected image data and determining whether a distance value between the car behind and the car ahead is in a predetermined range; and an event detecting module determining whether an event occurs or not by sensing the detected tail tight-off.
