Disclosed is a manufacturing method of a thin film type metallic oxide inverse opal structure using a capillary phenomenon in the present invention. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the manufacturing method of a thin film type metallic oxide structure comprises: a first step of arraying metallic oxide nano particles in an upper portion of a first base material and template particles, which are comprised of polymer organic particles or inorganic particles of a round shape having an equal size, and forming a structure filled with the metallic oxide nano particles in apertures among the template particles; a second step of arranging a second base material in an upper portion of the structure to make the structure be located between the first and second base materials; a third step of dipping the first and second base materials and the structure in a solution that metallic precursors are dispersed to make the metallic precursor solution be filled in the apertures existing in the structure due to the capillary phenomenon in accordance with gaps of the first and second base materials and surface tension; and a fourth step of forming an inverse opal structure by removing the template particles.
