An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for performing a ground conquer game connected with a location based social network and a system using the same. The objective of the present invention is to enable a gamer to conquer and occupy a virtual ground by moving the location of the gamer and moving to other locations through a map service. For this, according to an embodiment of the present invention, disclosed is the method for performing the ground conquer game connected with the location based social network, including: a first step of detecting the location of a first user terminal of a first user using a GPS; a second step of setting the location of the first user terminal as a ground conquer area on an electronic map; a third step of performing the ground conquer game between the first user and a second user within the ground conquer area, and setting the ground conquer area as an area of the first user or the second user according to the result of the ground conquer game; and a fourth step of providing a game point to the first user or the second user by being linked with the ground conquer game.
