USE CONVERTING SYSTEM WITH ELECTRONIC NEWS GATHERING CAMERA HAVING HIGH DEFINITION MULTIMEDIA INTERFACE

Disclosed is a use conversion system for an electronic news gathering (ENG) camera, which enables a user to utilize an ENG camera as an electronic field production (EFP) camera, whose use is different from that of an ENG camera, thereby maximizing the utilization of an ENG camera and which offers expandability to allow an ENG camera to interwork with general audio/video (AV) devices. To this end, the present invention provides a use conversion system for an ENG camera, which comprises; a first high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) output port installed in a camera adapter; a first HDMI input port installed in a base station; and an HDMI cable included in a composite cable to connect the first HDMI output port and the first HDMI input port. According to the present invention, the ENG camera can be operated as an EFP camera and be utilized by interworking with a conventional AV device such as a television or the like.
