The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for multi core emulation, which is operated based on dynamic context switching. The apparatus for multi core emulation based on dynamic context switching according to an aspect of the present invention comprises: a multi core emulation management unit transmitting a request signal for determining an emulation-performing core among multiple cores; and a context switching management unit receiving the request signal for determining an emulation-performing core from the multi core emulation management unit to determine the ID of the emulation-performing core according to the received signal and then execute the emulation of the core corresponding to the determined core ID.
