COMPOSITE NANOFIBROUS MEMBRANE FOR WATER PURIFICATION AND METHOD OF FABRICATING THE SAME

The present invention relates to a composite nanofibrous membrane for water purification and a manufacturing method thereof and, more particularly to a composite nanofibrous membrane for water purification capable of being manufactured at low costs with excellent fundamental properties required for a membrane for purification, and a manufacturing method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the composite nanofibrous membrane includes nanoparticles accumulated on fiber branches and a nanofiber web structure. The nanofiber web structure consists of polymers and fly ash, and includes a first fiber branch having 100-1000 nm of diameter, and a second fiber branch having 5-50 nm of diameter, wherein on the fiber branches, nanoparticles including Ag, Cu, TiO_2, etc. are accumulated and formed. The membrane provided by the present invention has excellent fundamental properties required for a membrane for water purification, being manufactured at low costs and with an environment-friendly material.
