The present invention relates to a nanocomposite membrane for purification of water and a method of manufacturing the same. Disclosed is a nanocomposite separator for water treatment which is excellent in various properties required for a water treatment separator and can be easily manufactured at low cost, and a method for producing the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the water treatment nanocomposite separation membrane comprises nanofiber web structure and nanoparticles deposited on fiber branches. The nanofiber web structure comprises a polymer and a fly ash, and has a primary fiber branch having a diameter of 100 to 1000 nm and a secondary fiber branch having a diameter of 5 to 50 nm. Also, nanoparticles such as silver (Ag), copper (Cu), and titanium oxide (TiO 2 ) are deposited on the fiber branches. The separator provided in the present invention is excellent in various properties required for a water treatment film, and can be easily manufactured at low cost by utilizing an eco-friendly material.
