The present invention relates to a teaching material for korean character which increases learning effect by learning korean character by morphology according to a creating principle of korean character, easily knowing consonants and vowels associated with a color and learning and recognizing the creating principle of korean character through color change by a combination of consonants and vowels, wherein the material comprises: a character display unit which displays characters consisting of consonants, vowels and one syllable combined by consonants or vowels korean character ; and a backlight display unit which determines colors depending on types of consonants and vowels which form characters of the character display unit and paints circumference of each character display unit by the determined color.
